All I had read that it was a bar where cocktails and innovative snacks were served. Little did I know that the moment I enter the dimly lit bar with the Javier Milara’s “Frosted rain” installation hanging from the ceiling, I would have the chance to relive the gastronomic dream I had at El Bulli three years ago.
They say that the best things in life are unexpected and what a fantastic experience it was! Maybe Adrià brothers don’t hold the world’s best restaurateurs title anymore,but their immense talent and ability to reinvent is still alive and present. The three hour dinner was made of over 40 snack and bites, some of them paired with cocktails, which brought me to Scandinavia, Vietnam, Japan, Peru and the Mediterranean countries. A voyage around a world and much more than just a meal…
